Have you ever taken a leap? Not a leap of faith, a change everything you know kind of leap, the kind that means you can never truly go back. We have.
When we started this adventure it was just that, an adventure. We were positive only things would happen. We would meet amazing people and see amazing things and learn amazing things. So far we've met interesting people (not our kind of people though,) seen some pretty sights and some awful sights, and learned that we aren't cut out to be a traveling family. I know, I keep saying everything happens for a reason but right now, it feels like this adventure happened because we made bad decisions. That is not to say we haven't grown closer as a family. I feel we now know each other a lot better than we used to. Now we can go back to having a home, jobs, school, and some sense of "normality". Whatever that is.
"How do we do that though?"
We will find a way, we always do. When we get our lives put back together, we'll still be The Rabbit Patch Family. It's who we are. We'll have a garden again, and chickens. I've got to say, while I might miss my things and having a house, I miss having chickens even more. There is something to be said for having a chicken's love. :)
Right now, things are tough. They will get better. Right now, we need to bust butts to get out of here and get home to Colorado. Then, we'll move again, later, the right way, when we've saved up enough money and have jobs waiting for us. :) It will get better. I must.
~Peace in, friends and
much love to all of you!~
