There was a day, a few months ago, I looked up and realized we were all sitting together in different galaxies. I was on my computer, (I rationalized it, at the time, as I had to finish editing a recent session. I see now, I could have waited until the children were in bed.) My husband was on his tablet, and my children were both on the Xbox, playing some violent game that didn't teach them anything nor improve their outlook on the world around them. We were all zombies, slaves to this plugged in nation. I sat there for the next few minutes, taking it all in. I ended up outside, in the garden, crying over the loss of my family. Soon after, my husband and I decided things had to change.
We began making plans. We met a wonderful woman who lives in Taos, NM. She invited us to come live there and build an eco friendly home there! Now, the struggle begins. We found someone to take over our rent to own house in exchange for a 1994 Ford Eldorado C class RV! Yay! Or was it?
The RV, while in great shape, just didn't seem to be what we were really looking for. It didn't have the space we needed. So, we accepted the offer but held off on moving into the RV. Then, there she was! The most perfect, so completely us, BUS! We have found our home! (PICTURES TO COME) We got to cleaning it. It is older, and hadn't had much TLC in a while. She's all cleaned up and we have moved in! The children have their own "rooms" and we finally have a king size bed! Woohoo!!!! Things were looking up. :)
There was a problem though...
We still hadn't been given the title to the RV we had traded the house for.
We decided to go camping and wait...
